How do I purchase a ticket for VOLUMES?
You can purchase tickets online via Eventbrite. Here is the link: https://www.eventbrite.com/o/icebox-project-space-17626439384
Will I be able to purchase tickets at the door?
If the show is not sold out, you can purchase tickets at the door. If the show is sold out, there will not be any available seating. We strongly advice purchasing tickets in advance.
Can I get a refund on my ticket if I am no longer able to attend?
If you need a refund, please contact us: firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I need to RSVP in order to attend a free performance?
Yes! In order to avoid overcrowding, RSVPs are necessary for all of the free performances.
What time should I arrive to Icebox Project Space?
Doors will open 30 minutes before each performance. There will be drinks for sale before the performance start time. The galleries within the Crane Arts Building (including Icebox) are open between 12-5pm or 12-6pm on Saturdays, depending on the gallery. You are welcome to arrive early to see those shows before getting in line to check in!
Is there free parking at Icebox Project Space?
There is limited street parking directly in front of the Crane Arts Building. The surrounding neighborhood has free, unmetered parking. Please plan to arrive early if you have parking concerns.
Should I bring earplugs?
Yes! Earplugs will also be provided but please bring your own if possible.
What about sunglasses?
VOLUMES is quite intense on the eyes and sunglasses may help reduce your discomfort with sharp brightness. We recommend bringing a pair just in case!
Is Icebox Project Space wheelchair accessible?
Yes. There is limited handicap parking in front the Crane Arts Building and a ramp leading into the building.
Is this space a gallery? A music venue? What should I expect?
Icebox Project Space is a gallery located within the Crane Arts Building, a former warehouse turned gallery and studio space. VOLUMES is between a concert and an artist installation. Expect to socialize, to be entertained, and to respect the facilities.
What if I arrive and find the installation is too overwhelming for me?
The installation is not safe for those with photo-sensitivity. If the flashing lights or loud noises are overwhelming, covering your eyes and using earplugs can help lessen the sensations. If you must urgently leave the gallery, an attendant will stand by the door and grant you access outside. Readmission will only take place between sets or at the end of the event.
Do I need to show proof of vaccination to attend?
You do not need to show proof of vaccination in order to attend. Masks are highly recommended.
Why is the ticket price $25?
The proceeds of the ticket sales help cover the artist fees for the free performances, support Ezra Masch and support the Icebox Project Space staff.
I love this! How can I support VOLUMES and Icebox Project Space?
VOLUMES was produced by a very small team and all donations will greatly support our work and the work of all the artists involved. You can make a donation via our Venmo: @Icebox_Project_Space or via cash when you arrive to the gallery. We also need volunteers for these events! Send us an email if you are interested.
